التحالف الامريكي لأجل سوريا يصدر بيانا عقب لقاء مع الرئيس التركي ووزير خارجيته .

أصدر التحالف الامريكي لاجل سوريا اليوم الجمعة المصادف 8/9/2023 بيان عقب اللقاء مع كل من الرئيس التركي رجب طيب اردوغان ووزير الخارجية التركي حقان فيدان.

وأكد التحالف خلال البيان أنه تم مناقشة الهموم الكبرى التي تَشغلُ السّوريّين مع القيادة التّركيّة.

واضاف التحالف أنه قدم الشكر إلى الرئيس التركي على ما قدّمته تركيا وما تزال للسوريين في محنتهم التي يمرّون بها منذ أكثر من ١٢ عاماً وعلى استضافتهم لملايين اللاجئين السّوريين،

واشار التحالف أنه تم طرح عدّة هموم سوريّة مع القيادة التّركيّة كان من أبرزها قضيّة ازدياد حالات ترحيل اللاجئين السوريين قسراً من تركيا إلى سورية رغم أنّ ظروفها لا تسمح بعودة اللاجئين عودةً آمنة بعد .

كان لنا في التّحالف الأميركي لأجل سورية شرف اللّقاء بالرئيس التّركيّ السيّد رجب طيب أردوغان وبوزير الخارجيّة التّركي السيّد حقّان فيدان وبالفريق المسؤول عن شؤون منطقة الشرق الأوسط عموماً وسورية خصوصاً في وزارة الخارجية على مدى يومين مُتتاليين في القصر الرّئاسي في العاصمة التّركيّة أنقرة وفي مكتب السيّد الوزير فيدان ومكاتب المسؤولين الآخرين في وزارة الخارجيّة.

وقد انتهزنا هذه الفرصة الثّمينة لطرح ومناقشة الهموم الكبرى التي تَشغلُ السّوريّين مع القيادة التّركيّة.

فبعد أن تقدّمنا بالشّكر للسيّد الرّئيس، الذي استقبلنا وفريقه بكلّ حفاوة وكرم وأحاطنا بكلّ لطف وعناية ممكنة، على جزيل ما قدّمته تركيا وما تزال للسوريين في محنتهم التي يمرّون بها منذ أكثر من ١٢ عاماً وعلى استضافتهم لملايين اللاجئين السّوريين، وبعد تقديم تهانينا للرئيس وللسيد وزير الخارجية على فوزهم في الانتخابات التّركيّة الأخيرة وتمنّياتنا لتركيا وشعبها بدوام الرّخاء والازدهار، فقد عمدنا مباشرة لطرح عدّة هموم سوريّة مع القيادة التّركيّة كان من أبرزها قضيّة ازدياد حالات ترحيل اللاجئين السوريين قسراً من تركيا إلى سورية رغم أنّ ظروفها لا تسمح بعودة اللاجئين عودةً آمنة بعد،وقضيّة تنظيم وضبط الأوضاع الأمنيّة والعسكريّة وتوحيد جهود الإداريّة والمدنيّة في مناطق شمال سورية، وتمكين هذه المناطق اقتصادياً.

كما طرحت المنظّمات الإنسانيّة السّوريّة الأميركية الحاضرة ممثّلةً بمنظّمة رحمة بلا حدود على السيّد الرّئيس قضيّة إيقاف إعفاء الطلّاب السوريين في تركيا من دفع الأقساط الدّراسية، إذ أن الطلاب السوريين الجامعيين في تركيا الذين يقارب عددهم ال٢٠٠ ألف كانوا مَعفيّين بقرار كريم من القيادة التّركيّة من دفع الأقساط والرّسوم الأخرى لسنين إلا أنّ ذلك قد أوقف قبل عامين ورافقه ارتفاعٌ في أسعار الأقساط الجامعيّة في تركيا عموماً، ما يعني أنّ عشرات آلاف الطلاب السوريين قد يُحرمون من فرصة التّعليم الجامعي التي لا بدّ منها لإعداد جيل مُنتج فكريّاً واقتصاديّاً قادر على إعادة بناء سورية أوّلاً وعلى المساهمة في رفد الاقتصاد التّركيّ أيضاً.

ختاماً لا يسعنا إلّا أن نتوجّه بوافر الشّكر للسيّد الرّئيس رجب طيّب أردوغان والسيّد وزير الخارجيّة حقّان فيدان ولفريقيهما وللشعب التّركيّ عموماً على حفاوة استقبالهم وكرم ضيافتهم وعلى محبّتهم وحسن إصغائهم.

American Coalition for Syria Meets with President Erdogan and Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to Discuss Syria Developments08 September 2023Earlier this week, representatives from the American Coalition for Syria (ACS) met with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Turkish leadership at the presidential palace in Ankara. During the meetings, ACS discussed its mission and objectives, congratulated President Erdogan on Turkey’s recent democratic election, and highlighted its positive relationship with the Turkish government and embassy in Washington, D.C.ACS Policy Chief Mohammed Alaa Ghanem expressed gratitude to the people of Turkey for their support and assistance to the Syrian people. Turkey has played a pivotal role in providing aid, shelter, and refuge to Syrians displaced by the conflict, reflecting a strong commitment to humanitarian values.ACS, an umbrella organization of nine American civic and faith-based organizations dedicated to supporting the welfare and well-being of the Syrian people, used this opportunity to discuss several key issues related to Syria.Humanitarian Efforts: ACS and Turkish leadership discussed the ongoing humanitarian efforts to address the needs of Syrians, both inside Syria and in neighboring countries. ACS acknowledged Turkey’s immense contribution in hosting Syrian refugees and emphasized its commitment to aiding Syrian communities. ACS raised the issue of forced deportation and suggested a petition system be instituted so those repatriated by mistake can appeal the decision.De-escalation in Syria: The conversation also touched upon the importance of de-escalation and finding peaceful solutions to the conflict in Syria. Both ACS and Turkish leadership agreed on the necessity of dialogue and diplomacy to resolve the ongoing crisis.Governance in Liberated Areas: ACS acknowledged improvements but also conveyed concerns regarding the governance situation in areas controlled by various factions in northern Syria. While progress has been made, much work remains to establish unified, stable, and effective governance structures that provide essential services and economic opportunities. Turkish leadership was also urged to create a mechanism for reduced or free college tuition for refugees in Turkey.Syrian Contributions: During the meeting, ACS also highlighted the invaluable contributions of Syrian individuals and communities in Turkey and the United States, who are actively involved in humanitarian efforts, providing aid, and working towards improving the situation in Syria. ACS believes in the importance of advocating for change and taking concrete actions to assist the Syrian people.ACS’s meeting with President Erdogan reflects its commitment to fostering positive relationships with key stakeholders and advocating for a free and democratic Syria.
